Midwest Alliance of Sovereign Tribes Resolution to Support to Amend Stafford Act

Midwest Alliance of Sovereign Tribes President, Michelle Stanley issued a resolution to support to Senate Bill 2283.  The bill amends the Stafford Act to allow Tribes to choose whether to directly request a separate declaration or to receive assistance, as they do presently, under a declaration for a State.
