Environmental Assessment for Wilawana Temporary Mobile Home Community Site, Athens Township, Bradford County, Pennsylvania (October 2011)

This Environmental Assessment is in response to the need to provide direct housing to individuals who have been affected by the disaster. Section 408 of the Stafford Act authorizes FEMA to provide emergency and temporary housing for eligible disaster victims whose homes are uninhabitable or destroyed as a result of the declared event. This EA has been prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) of 1969, the President’s Council on Environmental Quality (CEQ) regulations to implement NEPA (40 Code of Federal Regulations [CFR] Parts 1500-1508),and FEMA’s regulations implementing NEPA (44 CFR Part 10).
