Environmental Assessment for Port of New Orleans-Morrison Yard Fuel Storage, Orleans Parish, Louisiana (September 2010)

An Environmental Assessment has been prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (NEPA); the President’s Council on Environmental Quality regulations implementing NEPA (40 CFR 1500-1508); and FEMA’s regulations implementing NEPA (44 CFR 10.9) to analyze the potential environmental impacts of a proposed project for the relocation and structural improvements of fuel storage tanks. Funds for the proposed project would be provided under FEMA’s Public Assistance Grant Program under DR-1603 (Hurricane Katrina).
