Environmental Assessment for the City of Fredonia Substation Project, Wilson County, Kansas (June 2009)
Severe storms and flooding on June 26, 2007 caused substantial damage to the City of Fredonia’s power plant and electrical substation. The City has applied for funding under FEMA’s Public Assistance Program to construct a new substation. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act, an environmental assessment has been prepared to evaluate the potential impacts of the project on the human environment.
