Environmental Assessment for Lake Charles Fields 6th Ave Alternative Housing Pilot Program Group Housing Site

The purpose of this action is to provide alternative disaster housing in Lake Charles Fields in Calcasieu Parish, Louisiana that includes long-term and permanent solutions. The need for this action is to address the housing shortages caused by the catastrophic effects of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, and to move disaster victims from current temporary solutions (e.g., rental dwellings, manufactured housing, etc.) to permanent housing.
