United South and Eastern Tribes Letter of Support to Amend Stafford Act

United South and Eastern Tribes President, Brian Patterson sent to Honorable Senators Lieberman and Collins a letter of support to Senate Bill 2283.  The bill amends the Stafford Act to allow Tribes to choose whether to directly request a separate declaration or to receive assistance, as they do presently, under a declaration for a State.
