FEMA is proposing to provide funding under its Port Security Grant Program for the construction of a Command and Control Center and Main Gate Entrance Plaza at the Port of Lake Charles. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and FEMA’s regulations for implementing NEPA at 44 CFR Part 10, an Environmental Assessment has been prepared to evaluate the potential impacts of the proposed project on the human environment.
