Environmental Assessment for City of Peabody, Goldthwaite Brook Flood Mitigation Project, Peabody, Massachusetts (November 2009)

In response to recurrent flooding since the 1950s, the City of Peabody has applied for FEMA funding under the Pre-Disaster Mitigation Grant Program for a flood mitigation project. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and FEMA’s regulations for implementing NEPA (44 CFR Part 10), an Environmental Assessment has been prepared to evaluate the potential impacts of the proposed project on the human environment.
