Animals in Emergencies
This FEMA Kit includes two DVDs created by a joint venture between the departments of the Army and Homeland Security, through the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness Program (CSEPP). These movies address what planners, public officials, and pet owners need to consider when planning for emergency animal and pet evacuation, transportation, and sheltering. The "What Planners Need to Know," DVD presents information for state and local planners. The "What Owners Need to Know," DVD focuses on the planning tools for pet owners. Each DVD contains a video presentation on pet preparedness as well as supplemental material designed to assist in planning that can be accessed through use of your computer's hard drive. These videos and their supporting documents were created with input from federal, state, and local nonprofit partners active in disaster management and planning.

EA for Greensburg's City Hall
Pursuant to Section 406 of the Robert T. Stafford Disaster and Emergency Assistance Act of 1988, as amended, the city of Greensburg has requested funding through FEMA Public Assistance Program. FEMA’s Public Assistance Program provides supplemental Federal disaster grant assistance for the repair, replacement, or restoration of disaster damaged, publicly owned facilities. Work that is eligible for this grant assistance is classified as either emergency work or permanent work. The purpose of this project is to assist the Greensburg residents in their recovery from the natural disaster by using the FEMA Public Assistance Program to fund the construction of a new Greensburg City Hall.
