Trademark Consent to Use Agreement 

 

The Department of Homeland Security (“DHS”) hereby consents to the NAME OF COMPANY 
(hereinafter “Entity”), a non-exclusive, royalty free use of the Ready Flagship Mark (as provided by DHS 
and displayed below) for the sole and exclusive purpose of including on Emergency Supply Kit Poster(s) 
that are authorized by DHS in writing. The Ready Flagship Mark is a DHS-owned trademark associated 
with the Ready Campaign. 

 

 

By signing this Trademark Consent to Use Agreement (the “Agreement”), and for good and 
valuable consideration acknowledged and received, DHS and the Entity agree to the following: 

 

Scope 

 

The Ready Flagship Mark may be used solely on the Emergency Supply Kit Poster(s) that are 
authorized in final form by the Department of Homeland Security in writing. 

 

Depiction of the Ready Flagship Mark must be as provided by DHS and displayed on this 
Agreement. No alteration or modification of the Ready Flagship Mark , including but not limited 
to, color, shape and any textual elements, is permitted. 

 

Entity shall not use the Ready Flagship Mark other than as expressly authorized in this 
Agreement unless specifically authorized in writing by the Department of Homeland Security. 

 

Entity subscribes to the objectives and goals of the DHS Ready Campaign, but must represent 
itself as an independent entity, and not part of the Department of Homeland Security. 

 

Entity is not authorized by the Department of Homeland Security to license or transfer the Ready 
Flagship Mark to any other organization or agency. 

 

Entity must use all inventory related to this Agreement within twelve months from the date of 
execution of this Agreement. Use of inventory beyond this period will require written permission 
from the Department of Homeland Security. 

 

Trademarks Symbols and Placement 

 

When using the Ready Flagship Mark, Entity shall ensure that the "®" symbol is placed 
immediately to the right of the mark. 

 


Miscellaneous 

 

The Entity acknowledges that nothing in this Agreement shall affect any transfer of copyright, 
trademark or any other applicable intellectual property rights or title from the Department of 
Homeland Security to the Entity, and no other use of the Department of Homeland Security’s 
intellectual property is hereby authorized. 

 

 

Termination 

 

This Agreement automatically terminates in twelve months from the date of execution (signature 
by both parties).
