SHOWER UNIT DESCRIPTION A deployable box, container, or trailer that contains shower heads, hot potable water and a system for grey water to be stored or removed from site that can be mobilized to support disaster survivors or responders. RESOURCE CATEGORY Mass Care RESOURCE KIND Unit OVERALL FUNCTION These units provide hot showers for personnel hygiene and comfort for responders and survivors. COMPOSITION AND ORDERING SPECIFICATIONS One shower head per 15- 20 people for a 24-hour operational period. A separate shower may be ordered for those with access and functional needs which meet the ADA Standards for Accessible Design.
