| The State of Idaho Bureau of Homeland Security has applied to FEMA for funding under the Legislative Pre-Disaster Mitigation (L-PDM) program for assistance with a wildfire fuel load reduction project in southeastern Idaho. The State of Idaho Public Safety Communication Sites Wildfire Mitigation Project would reduce risk from fire to three state-owned public safety communication sites located in Oneida, Bannock, and Bingham Counties, Idaho. In accordance with the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) and FEMA’s NEPA implementing regulations at 44 CFR Part 10, an Environmental Assessment has been prepared to evaluate the potential impacts of the proposed project on the human environment. |
