Robert M. Waltemeyer serves as the Chief Administrative Officer for Mission Support. Mr. Waltemeyer is responsible for executive-level direction to and oversight of assigned administrative and agency support functions in direct support of all Agency organizations.
Prior to joining FEMA, Mr. Waltemeyer served in the United States Army for 30 years. He led commands and staffs in the development of programs that enabled U.S. and international forces to meet security and stability objectives in support of the U.S. national defense strategy. Mr. Waltemeyer served on senior Department of Defense staffs and is a veteran of operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Mr. Waltemeyer holds a Master of Strategic Studies from the Army War College, a Master of Science degree in Humanities from Louisiana State University and is a graduate of Frostburg State University.
