Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Department of Education, in partnership with Timilty Middle School, presented Taking Care of Each Other on October 7, 1997, in Boston, Massachusetts.

Taking Care of Each Other was a celebration of local, state and federal partnerships linked with the President's educational initiatives, World Disaster Reduction Day and the kick-off of the FEMA for Kids Web site. This partnership is a model for the country and serves to reinforce to students everywhere that we are all responsible for keeping one another safe and looking out for each other's best interests at all times.
