Two Students From Sudlersville Elementary School Write About Hurricane Floyd

Hurricane Floyd was very terrible for many reasons. First, it rained for hours and hours. My dad had to drive through the rain to go to work. Second., it rained so hard that my ditch was full of water. Next a lot of people went swimming in their ditch. Third, the good thing about it was I did not get flooded out. I am not trying to be mean to the people that did get flooded out but I'm just saying I'm happy that I did not get flooded out. Last, the bad thing about it is that I don't know how my dad made out through this flood. The Hurricane Floyd was very bad.

That day when I woke up it was raining and very windy outside. The rain made a big mud puddle in my front yard. The water was so strong it flipped my bike over. My house was muddy and my Mom-Mom's house, too. That whole block was washed out. I am living in my Pop-Pop's house.
