This section contains information on the IPAWS All-Hazards Information Feed, which can be used by internet services and applications to increase the reach of public alerts and warnings.
This section describes the process for Internet web services and applications to gain access to the IPAWS All-Hazards Information Feed.
Internet web services and applications may complete a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the Integrated Public Alert and Warning Systems (IPAWS) allowing them to access, monitor, and retrieve public alerts in Common Alerting Protocol (CAP) format from an IPAWS All-Hazards Information Feed that can be monitored over an internet connection. Organizations and the general public may then subscribe to the third party internet web services and applications to receive public alerts that have been issued through IPAWS by any IPAWS alerting authority. To request access to alerts issued through IPAWS, email firstname.lastname@example.org.
