Premium Class Travel

Main Content

The Office of the Chief Financial Officer issued FEMA Directive 122-7, Premium Class Travel on Sept. 27, 2013.  The Directive provides guidance on the use any class of travel accommodation above coach class, e.g., first class, business class, otherwise known as premium class travel for FEMA employees and invitational travelers conducting official government travel on behalf of FEMA.

Personnel are reminded that all travel accommodations above coach-class must be approved in advance of travel by the appropriate official delegated the authority to approve the premium class travel.  You may access the directive under “Travel Policies” on the OCFO Financial Policy intranet site at: http://on.fema.net/components/ocfo/policy/Pages/fp_guidance.aspx

Questions regarding this policy should be directed to FEMA-TravelPolicy@fema.gov
