Louisiana Recovery Efforts after Katrina and Rita

The Federal Emergency Management Agency’s Louisiana Recovery Office and Dillard University’s Community Development Corporation recently hosted a Disaster Contracting Industry Day in New Orleans. The event provided local businesses with information about future disaster contracting requirements and to gain industry insight regarding best practices and standards to assist with requirements development. Personnel were on hand to explain FEMA’s role during a disaster, the type of contracts needed to support its mission and to answer questions. These videos highlight the recovery work as we continue the recovery process.
