Eligible grant applicants include:
Federally-recognized Indian Tribal governments that wish to apply directly to FEMA
In the application process, eligible grant applicants may:
Enter paper planning and project subgrant applications, if any, on behalf of their subgrant applicants using the paper Intake function;
Review and approve planning and project subgrant applications, project pre-applications (if required by the grant applicant) submitted by subgrant applicants, and any paper intake subgrant applications;
Create planning, project, and management costs subgrant applications on behalf of the grant applicant's agency;
Create grant applications and attach approved planning, project, and management costs subgrant applications;
Submit grant applications to FEMA;
Manage grant awards; and
Create and submit Quarterly Reports to FEMA.
If a subgrant applicant does not use the eGrants system to submit subgrant applications, then the grant applicant must enter it into eGrants on their behalf.
