Deadline Extension for Pre-Disaster Mitigation Joint Explanatory Statement

Fiscal Years 2008, 2009, and 2010

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has extended the deadline to receive complete applications for the Pre-Disaster Mitigation Joint Explanatory Statement (PDM-JES) for Fiscal Years (FY) 2008, 2009, and 2010 from December 3, 2010 until December 2, 2011.

Please be advised that the deadline for receipt of complete PDM-JES applications submitted to for FY 2008, 2009, and 2010 is extended until December 2, 2011. Complete PDM-JES applications must be submitted to eGrants by December 2, 2011. This extension is applicable to PDM-JES only. If you have any questions please contact your Regional Office or email FEMA-JES-PDM@dhs.gov.

Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 Pre-Disaster Mitigation Joint Explanatory Statement Guidance

The Fiscal Year (FY) 2010 annual grant cycle for Pre-Disaster Mitigation Joint Explanatory Statement (PDM-JES) was funded under The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Appropriations Act of 2010 (the Act). Included in the Joint Explanatory Statement (JES) to the Act was a list of entities identified to receive funding and the associated congressionally directed funding amount.

Please review the FY10 PDM-JES Guidance document for submission deadlines, eligibility and application requirements, as well as a list of the entities identified to receive funding under this Act.
