Stovetop fire extinguishers save lives and property Bristol Virginia Fire Department

Bristol, VA - Safety trailer used in fire prevention initiativesThrough a 2007 FP&S grant, the department was able to purchase 1,000 automatic home stovetop extinguishers. The prevention program included developing public service announcements and community awareness education classes.
