    New awards will be announced on a weekly basis from now until all FY 2011 funds have been awarded. Please click here for more information.
  • We will start notifying those applicants whose submissions did not qualify for peer panel review in mid to late January. More information about the status of these notices will be available in the near future
  • Central Contractor Registration Requirement (CCR)
    Please click here and complete the registration as soon as possible. Grant awardees that have not completed the CCR registration process, or have not completed the required annual renewal and revalidation of CCR data, will not be able to draw grant funds.

National Symposium on Model Performance in Fire Prevention
Vision 20/20 is seeking proposals for presentation at the National Symposium on Model Performance in Fire Prevention, May 4-6, 2012, in Reston, Virginia. Presentations may be submitted from local and state fire prevention officials, researchers, or other prevention advocates.

  • $405 million will support Fire and EMS Operations and Safety Grants, Firefighting and Emergency Vehicle Grants and Fire Prevention and Safety Grants (FP&S)
  • $405 million will support SAFER grants

Grant Closeout Updates
  • FY 2008 and Previous AFG Awardees
    If you received a grant for FY 2008 or earlier, you MUST submit a grant closeout report before any new awards will be made. If you have questions about submitting a closeout report, please call the AFG Help Desk at 1-866-274-0960, or contact them by email at firegrants@dhs.gov.
  • FY 2009 and FY 2010 AFG Awardees
    The closeout report for FY 2009 and FY 2010 grants will be available soon. However, consideration of your FY 2011 application will NOT be affected by the status of the closeout reports for your FY 2009 and 2010 grants.

Search the list by state, award amount or by city to see which departments received funding.
