Main Content
The City of Yucaipa has applied for funding under FEMA’s Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) Program to conduct a stormwater management project involving the construction of one desilting basin, two detention basins, and a natural bottom channel (bioretention swale) in and adjacent to Wildwood Creek in the southeastern part of the city. This Supplemental Environmental Assessment (SEA) tiers from the Programmatic Environmental Assessment for Typical Recurring Actions Resulting from Flood, Earthquake, Fire, Rain, and Wind Disasters in California. This SEA has been prepared in accordance with the National Environmental Compliance Act (NEPA) and FEMA’s regulations implementing NEPA. It identifies and evaluates the potential impacts of the proposed project on the human and natural environment.
