The Office of the Chief Component Human Capital Officer, Career Development and Training Branch is now accepting applications for the Human Resources for Supervisors and Managers course.  This course is designed to provide new FEMA supervisors and managers an overview and understanding of personnel management responsibilities, laws and regulations necessary to effectively accomplish organizational objectives.  It also includes practical discussions on how to deal with various human resources issues that supervisors and managers encounter on a day-to-day basis.

Eligibility:  FEMA new Permanent full-time (PFT) Supervisors and Managers will be granted priority registration, followed by all other interested PFT Supervisors and Managers.

Costs:  There is no cost for the training; however, the employee’s office, directorate or region is responsible for all travel cost associated with this training.
