The Career Development and Training Branch announce the 2012-2013 Career Builder Express Program. This program is a 10-month computer-based program linked by a cross-training assignment, mentoring partnership and course review summaries. It is designed to provide interested employees with a flexible and innovative learning experience. Through SkillSoft interactive online courses, participants are able to develop and enhance skills in the areas of self-management, leadership, project management and change management. The cross-training assignment and mentoring partnership reinforce the participant’s knowledge, skills and abilities to enhance organizational relationships and output. Participants are also required to attend a 1-week Developmental Review session at the National Emergency Training Center in Emmitsburg, MD.
PROGRAM DATES: June 20, 2012-April 26, 2013
ELIGIBILITY: Permanent full-time and CORE employees at the GS-13 level and below.
COST: There is no tuition cost. Any travel cost associated with the cross-training assignment is the responsibility of the participant’s office, directorate or region.
