West:
Isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms are forecast for most of the region except along the coastline and Desert Southwest.
Midwest:
A developing frontal system will move out of the Dakotas into the Upper Midwest. Thunderstorms are forecast from South Dakota and Nebraska to Wisconsin this evening. The system over the Ohio Valley, mid-Mississippi Valley and Central Plains will continue to weaken and produce little additional precipitation. Frost Advisories and Freeze Watches are in effect this morning across northern Minnesota, northern Wisconsin and northern Michigan.
South:
The Region will be generally dry through Monday. Precipitation will be limited to isolated thunderstorms in the Tennessee Valley, north Georgia, the Carolinas and southern Texas. South Florida will have afternoon showers and thunderstorms.
Northeast:
A cold front will move through the Region today. Precipitation will be limited to the Appalachians, northern New York and New England due to a cold upper-level disturbance. Freeze Watches are in effect through Monday morning for northern Pennsylvania and western New York due to unseasonably cold air, clear nighttime skies and light winds. The H1N1 Influenza Outbreak continues to grow in the United States. As of Saturday, May 30, 2009, the CDC reported 10,053 (+1,078) confirmed and probable cases in 50 states including the District of Columbia. The CDC now reports 17 (+2) confirmed fatalities in the United States.
H1N1 Influenza Outbreak - International
According to the World Health Organization (WHO), as of Saturday, May 30, 2009, there were 15,510 (+2,112) confirmed cases in 53 countries including 99 fatalities. Mexico has 4,910 confirmed cases and 85 (+2) fatalities.

Eastern Pacific:
Showers and thunderstorms remain disorganized in association with an area of disturbed weather several hundred miles south-southeast of Acapulco, Mexico. Over the next 48 hours it is forecast to move westward at 5-10 mph. There is a low chance (less than 30 percent) of this system becoming a tropical cyclone during the next 48 hours.
