On September 22, 2007 at about 9:50 pm EDT, CSX Transportation reported a derailment of at least 11 cars (two locomotives and nine cars), three of which are manifested with Anhydrous Ammonia, as part of a freight movement.
The three with hazardous material are on their side.
A HAZMAT team is on scene investigating any leakage.
Other cars are empty.
Local PD has established a three mile precautionary evacuation.
30 persons have been evacuated to a sheter.

SubTropical Low 11, a non-tropical low centered about 1,687 miles east of Washington, DC, is on the verge of becoming a subtropical cyclone.
Little movement is expected during the next 24 hours; thereafter, it should begin to move northeasterly.
INVEST 94L, is a broad area of low pressure positioned over the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico and 635 southwest of Miami, FL.
Conditions are favorable for some development when it emerges over the Gulf of Mexico in the next 24 hours.

Tropical Storm Ivo
This downgraded system still has slow movement toward the northeast.
It is expected to continue on this course during the next 24-48 hours and pass well to the south of Baja, Mexico.
