FEMA Emergency Operations Vehicle (EOV) Diagrams
Main Conference Room
- The Main Conference room is 22' wide by 25' 6" long.
- The doors at each end are 2' 6" wide.
- Floors and walls are carpeted for sound attenuation.
- Work Stations are 28" deep by 48" wide. Each is equipped with a lamp, headphones for monitoring TV, 110-VAC plug, Phone and Modem and LAN connections.
- The Conference Table is 4' wide by 12' long.
Rear Area (Operations/Communications)
Operations:
- The Operations area is 9'6" long by 8' wide. The center aisle is 2' 10" wide. Shelves and storage cabinets line both sides.
- The Work Desk and storage area is 4' 6" long by 2' 6" deep. There is 2' between the work table and the RF Comm Table.
- There are Three Operations PCs, a printer/fax/copier, a Lan Server and a server for Ccmail.
- The TV Monitor is switchable from satellite to broadcast transmissions.
Communications:
- The Comm Area is 8' by 8'. The center aisle is 2' 10" wide.
- Currently, communication capabilities include, RF (numerous frequencies and bands) a MERLIN Switch, a REMBRANT system and an IDNX 20.
Forward Area of EOV
The overall dimensions of the forward part of the EOV are 8' wide by 13'10" long. The area contains the directors office with desk, chairs, phones, and LAN /WAN PC connections. The reception area also contains security monitors and phones.
The utility area is a 4' by 8' area in the forward most section of the EOV. This area houses the electrical control panels, circuit breakers, external power cables and heating and air conditioning systems.
