Program Description: The Emergency Preparedness Chair Interest Group newsletter, the EPCIG Newsletter, is published twice yearly; topics include the Incident Command System, Hospital Emergency Incident Command System, Kaiser Hospital Emergency Incident Command System, Northern California Kaiser Permanente postearthquake inspection program, release of patient information during a disaster, and the organization's Earthquake Hazards Mitigation Program. Additional information is available through an e-mail conference.

The Earthquake Hazards Mitigation Program, for example, has three components:

Setting: Produced and distributed internally for the Northern California Kaiser Permanente organization.
