SBA Disaster Assistance

ATLANTA – The U.S. Small Business Administration announced today the opening of a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Margate City, NJ on Tuesday, Feb. 19.  The Center will provide one-on-one assistance to homeowners, renters and businesses of all sizes seeking disaster assistance for losses caused by Hurricane Sandy.  

The Center is located as indicated below until further notice:

Atlantic County
Union Avenue School/Margate City Hall

Margate City, NJ 08402
Opens:   Tuesday, Feb. 19 at 9 a.m.
Hours:   Monday-Friday; 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Applicants may also apply online using the Electronic Loan Application (ELA) via SBA’s secure website at https://disasterloan.sba.gov/ela.

Additional details on the locations of recovery centers and the loan application process can be obtained by calling SBA’s Customer Service Center at 800-659-2955 (800-877-8339 for the deaf and hard-of-hearing) or by sending an email to disastercustomerservice@sba.gov. Loan applications can be downloaded from www.sba.gov.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is March 1, 2013.

The deadline to return economic injury applications is July 31, 2013.
