INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The Indiana Department of Homeland Security and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) will open a Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Clark County for residents who suffered damage from severe storms, straight-line winds and tornadoes that occurred in the area from February 29 to March 3, 2012.

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency announced that federal disaster aid has been made available to the State of Indiana and ordered federal aid to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area affected by severe storms, straight-line winds, and tornadoes during the period of February 29 to March 3, 2012. The President's action makes federal funding available to affected individuals in the counties of Clark, Jefferson, Ripley, Scott, Warrick, and Washington.
