ALBANY, N.Y. - State and federal officials have announced that two additional counties are now eligible to receive disaster assistance designed to help affected individuals and local governments recover from the effects of the recent flooding caused by Tropical Storm Lee.

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Federal and state emergency management officials said today that a Mobile Disaster Recovery Center (MDRC) will open for three days in Bainbridge on Monday, Oct. 10, to assist individuals, households and businesses affected by Tropical Storm Lee. The MDRC will be open through Wednesday, Oct. 12, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., at the Municipal Parking Lot, 28 North Main Street.

ALBANY, N.Y. -- Two more state and federal Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) will open this week, one in Broome County on Wednesday, October 5, and the other in Chemung County on Thursday, October 6. The DRCs will assist individuals, households and businesses affected by Tropical Storm Lee and the subsequent flooding, according to state and federal officials. Operating hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, closed Sundays. The two additional centers will open at the following locations:
