HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Disaster applicants who registered with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) for disaster assistance and received a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) disaster loan application must complete and return it even if they do not want a loan. A completed disaster loan application is the gateway to determining the type of assistance a homeowner or renter may be eligible for.

HARRISBURG, Pa. -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency will open a second Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Philadelphia County on Monday to help residents and business owners with their recovery from the recent storms and flooding. HARRISBURG, Pa. -- Homeowners, renters and business owners in seven additional Pennsylvania counties are now eligible for federal assistance to help recover from the effects of Tropical Storm Lee, which struck the Commonwealth on September 3. The counties designated today for assistance are Berks, Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, Northampton and Philadelphia. They join 19 other Pennsylvania counties already designated for disaster assistance.

"Irene and Lee did not discriminate between homeowners and renters," said Federal Coordinating Officer Thomas J. McCool.
