ALBANY, N.Y. – Residents of Orange and Ulster counties hit by both Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee may be eligible for federal aid from both disasters but must register separately for each incident, officials from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) said today. Five counties in New York State are included in two separate federally declared disasters. Orange and Ulster counties were recently declared eligible for Individual Assistance (IA), after being hit by Tropical Storm Lee.  Earlier they were declared eligible for IA after being hit by Hurricane Irene.
