SAN JUAN, PR -- Commonwealth and Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) officials announced today that government agencies and certain private non-profit organizations needing funds to rebuild infrastructure damages caused by severe storms, flooding, mudslides, and landslides, which occurred in Puerto Rico from May 20 to June 8, 2011, must submit a Request for Public Assistance (RPA) form to the Office of the Governor's Authorized Representative (GAR) no later than August 15, 2011.

SAN JUAN, PR - Federal officials announced today that the municipality of Yabucoa has been added to the list of designated municipalities under the presidential disaster declaration of July 14, 2011. The disaster declaration was granted due to severe storms, flooding, mudslides, and landslides, which occurred in Puerto Rico from May 20 to June 8, 2011.

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that federal disaster aid has been made available to the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and ordered federal aid to supplement commonwealth and local recovery efforts in the area struck by severe storms, flooding, mudslides and landslides during the period of May 20 to June 8, 2011.
