LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- Arkansans in Franklin and Johnson counties who sustained property damage as a result of the storms, tornadoes and flooding of May 24-26 are urged to register with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), as they may be eligible for grants, loans or other help.

WASHINGTON -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that federal disaster aid has been made available to the state of Arkansas to supplement the state and local recovery efforts in the area struck by severe storms, tornadoes, and flooding during the period of May 24-26, 2011.
