LAS VEGAS, Nev -- The Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today it has obligated $1,587,555.12 in Public Assistance Program funds to reimburse state, county, local governments and certain non-profit organizations for losses suffered from the record and near record snow falls of December 29, 2004-January 2, 2005 and January 6-10, 2005.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today that federal disaster funds have been authorized for Nevada to supplement emergency response efforts for the record snowstorm that struck the state beginning in late December.
