Washington, DC - Federal assistance has been made available by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) to help Colorado battle the uncontrolled Armageddon fire burning in Larimer County. According to the agency, the state's request for federal fire management assistance was approved last night after it was reported that the blaze posed a threat to numerous residences in the Carter Lake area. The fire, which started last Wednesday, had burned 700 acres of land at the time of the request.
