WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The National Interagency Fire Center reports serious wildfire activity in Nevada and California. Nevada: A 4,500-acre fire is reported 10 miles north of Reno, Nev., and is threatening several houses in two sub-divisions. Local officials report mandatory evacuations have been ordered. The blaze, dubbed the Red Rock fire, is difficult to fight due to the terrain. FEMA approved a Fire Suppression Assistance Grant yesterday to help Nevada fight this fire. California:
