REISTERSTOWN, MD.-- The Maryland Department of Emergency Management and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today announced they will hold a Public Assistance Applicant Briefing for private nonprofit organizations (PNPs) affected by the December 18-20, 2009, severe winter storm and snowstorm. The State of Maryland became a presidentially declared disaster area on February 19, 2010.

REISTERTOWN, MD. -- The Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today announced there is just one week left for localities and private nonprofits to submit a Request for Public Assistance (RPA) for damage resulting from the December 18-20, 2009 severe winter storm and snowstorm. The deadline is April 19, 2010.

REISTERSTOWN, MD. -- The Maryland Emergency Management Agency (MEMA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today announced four additional localities have been designated as eligible for disaster aid for the December 18 – 20, 2010, severe winter storm and snowstorm.  The localities are Anne Arundel, Charles and Talbot Counties and the Independent City of Baltimore.

REISTERTOWN, MD -- The Maryland Department of Emergency Management (MEMA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) have granted an extension to apply for Federal funds for damage sustained following the December 18-20, 2009 severe winter storm and snowstorm. Applicants now have until April 19, 2010, to file for Federal Public Assistance funds for repairs to infrastructure.
