WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today announced federal aid to supplement Commonwealth and local recovery efforts in the area struck bysevere storms, tornadoes, flooding, and mudslides during the period of May 3-20, 2009.
