Bismarck, N.D. -- North Dakota residents who have been affected by the flooding that began on March 13 can now visit a Disaster Recovery Center in Grafton, where representatives are available to help answer questions about assistance. The Grafton Disaster Recovery Center, located at the Walsh County Courthouse, is run by the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services (NDDES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).

Bismarck, N.D. -- Disaster Recovery Centers across the state of North Dakota will be closed on Sundays, beginning Sunday, May 10. Disaster Recovery Center hours for Monday - Saturday will remain 9:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m., local time.

BISMARCK, N.D. -- Mitigation experts from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) are offering home improvement advice and general disaster recovery information every day this week at the Lowe's Home Improvement Center in Grand Forks. The FEMA mitigation outreach team will set up exhibits, hand out printed materials and talk one-on-one with people at the Lowe's store, 4001 32nd Ave. South, at Interstate 29. The team will be there Wednesday, May 13, through Sunday, May 31. Hours of operation are 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and noon to 6 p.m., Sundays.

That will be the last day for LaMoure County residents who have been affected by the flooding that began on March 13 to visit their local Disaster Recovery Center, which is run by the North Dakota Department of Emergency Services (NDDES) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). BISMARCK, N.D. -- When it comes to getting disaster assistance, state and federal officials have two important pieces of advice: Fill out and send in that SBA packet, and be sure to register even if you have insurance. The SBA Packet:If you receive an SBA loan packet after you register with FEMA, it is important to complete it and send it back - even if you don't intend to take out the loan.
