BATON ROUGE, La. -- A Mobile Disaster Recovery Center (MDRC) opened today in St. Francisville to help residents affected by recent hurricanes. This makes 15 centers open to date. This center will be open from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. through Thursday, Sept. 25. NEW ORLEANS, La. -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency's (FEMA) Louisiana Transitional Recovery Office (LATRO) has resumed normal recovery operations for hurricanes Katrina and Rita and will begin Gustav and Ike recovery operations starting Sunday, Sept. 21, 2008.
