Ten Counties Eligible For Federal Individual Disaster Assistance And Six Eligible For Public Assistance (Infrastructure) For The May 2 Storms
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. -- The Arkansas Department of Emergency Management (ADEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced that Individual Assistance (IA), Public Assistance (PA) and the Hazard Mitigation Grant Programs are available under the May 20 federal presidential declaration for the Arkansas counties affected by the severe storms, flooding and tornadoes beginning on May 2, 2008.

WASHINGTON, D.C. -- The head of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security?s Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) today announced that federal disaster aid has been made available for Arkansas to supplement state and local recovery efforts in the area struck by severe storms, flooding and tornadoes beginning on May 2, 2008 and continuing.
