JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- A team of federal mitigation experts will be at home supply stores in Sikeston, Springfield, and Rolla, Missouri. The State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA), in partnership with local home supply stores, offer outreach teams to assist people with mitigation and disaster assistance information following flooding in mid-March. Mitigation Teams will be at the following stores through Saturday, May 10:

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Hours will change slightly for the remaining four Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs) operated by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the State Emergency Management Agency in Missouri for those impacted in the mid-March storms and flooding. Effective Saturday, May 3, the DRCs will be on the following schedule: Jasper County DRC: Bethany Presbyterian Church, 1930 Virginia Ave., Joplin, MO, 64804. Open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 7 p.m.; closed Saturday and Sunday.

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Jasper County will relocate Monday, April 28, to the Bethany Presbyterian Church, 1930 Virginia Ave., Joplin, MO 64804. It was formerly at the First United Methodist Church on West Fourth Street. The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA) said the DRC will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m., until further notice. Closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
