LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- The state/federal Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Carroll County will shut down at close of business Friday, March 28. The White County DRC will close on Friday, March 28; reopening Saturday, March 29 as a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) and the Lake County DRC will ?close on Friday, March 28, reopening Monday, March 31 as a DLOC, federal and state disaster officials announced today.

LAFAYETTE, Ind. -- Indiana residents and business owners in the 21 counties included in the presidential disaster declaration have until March 31 to register for disaster assistance with the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Eligible residents and business owners who sustained damage from storms and flooding that began during the period Jan. 7 and continuing, should register for disaster assistance immediately, said officials from FEMA and the Indiana Department of Homeland Security (IDHS).
