p>WACO, Texas -- Officials from the Governor's Division of Emergency Management (GDEM) and the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) urge Texans affected by Tropical Storm Erin during August 14-20 to make sure they apply for all the federal assistance for which they may be eligible. To apply for disaster assistance, call FEMA toll-free at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 1-800-462-7585 for the speech- or hearing-impaired. Applications also may be made on-line at www.fema.gov. The registration deadline is December 3, 2007.

WACO, Texas -- The Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Texas Governor's Division of Emergency Management (GDEM) announced that a Mobile Disaster Recovery Center (MDRC) will return to Jones County from Tuesday, October 23 through Wednesday, November 7 in an ongoing effort to serve those affected by Tropical Storm Erin, August 14-20.

WACO, Texas -- The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) located at the Burke Square Professional Building, 3222 Burke Rd. Suite 104 in Pasadena, TX will close at 6 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 27. Assistance is still available to Texans affected by Tropical Storm Erin, even after the DRC closes. Individuals who have questions or need to register can still do so by calling FEMA's toll-free help line at 1-800-621-FEMA (3362).
