LACEY, Wash. -- The Issaquah Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), staffed by state and federal specialists, will transition to a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) operated by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA).The Issaquah DRC will cease operations at 6:30 p.m. on Friday Jan. 26. The SBA DLOC will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 29. This DLOC will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Friday from Jan. 29 through Friday, Feb. 9.

LACEY, Wash. -- In consultation with the State of Washington, FEMA has extended the deadline to register for federal/state assistance for those affected by the Nov.2-11 floods to Feb. 12 to ensure consistency of the application period with that of the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). To date, $3,527,527 in Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) disaster recovery assistance has been disbursed. Currently, 1,934 people have applied for FEMA assistance and over 1,000 applicants for assistance have been seen at Disaster Recovery Centers (DRCs).

LACEY, Wash.-- The Monroe Disaster Recovery Center (DRC), staffed by State and federal specialists, will transition to a Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) operated by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). The Monroe DRC will cease DRC operations at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday January 25. The SBA DLOC will open at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 30. This DLOC will operate from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday from Jan. 30 through Thursday, Feb. 8.

LACEY, WASH. -- During the November 2-11 flooding, the Snoqualmie River breached its banks and poured floodwaters of up to five feet onto Acacia Farm. Even though it took days for the floodwaters to recede, the owners of Acacia Farm were able to ride out the flood in the safety and comfort of their house.
