HARRISBURG, Pa. -- The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) announced today that it is expanding assistance to sixteen Pennsylvania counties to repair or replace public facilities damaged by the recent storms and flooding. Governmental entities, municipal authorities, school districts and private nonprofit organizations in these counties are now eligible for all categories of Public Assistance.

HARRISBURG, Pa. -- The Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) in Monroe County is scheduled to close July 18, announced the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and the Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency (PEMA) today. The DRC will close at 7 p.m. on Tuesday. Families and individuals needing answers to their questions about disaster assistance and the registration process will still be able to visit the DRC during its operating hours, 10 a.m. - 7 p.m., on Monday, July 17 and Tuesday, July 18.
