MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- A Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Disaster Assistance Outreach unit will visit Oxford on Tuesday, February 14 through Thursday, February 16. The hours are 11:00 am to 6:00 pm on Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. The three-day event will be held at the Oxford Civic Center, 401 McCullars Lane in Oxford.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- The U.S Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) urges Hurricane Katrina survivors who registered for disaster assistance to complete and return the loan application they received from the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). An SBA disaster loan application is not just for business owners, and is used by FEMA to determine the appropriate assistance each individual is eligible to receive. Many FEMA benefits become available only if the SBA application is submitted.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. -- Alabamians who suffered damages from Hurricane Katrina have 30 days left to register for disaster assistance, according to state and federal officials. March 11 is the last day to register. Homeowners, renters and business owners who sustained damage from the hurricane are urged to call the Department of Homeland Security's Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) teleregistration number toll-free at 800-621-FEMA (3362) or TTY 800-462-7585 for the speech- or hearing-impaired.

The unit will be closed on Sunday, February 12. Hours on Friday are 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The hours on Saturday and Monday are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. The three-day event will be held at the Guntersville Recreation Center , 1500 Sunset Drive in Guntersville.

The unit will be closed on Sunday, February 12. The hours are 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. The five-day event will be held at the Bayou La Batre Community Center, 12745 Padgett Switch Rd. in Bayou La Batre.
